About Mark Piper

Mark’s experience in the field spans two decades. He began working independently in 1999 and has since had the privilege of applying his vast knowledge of interior design to produce customized, top-notch, and exclusive living spaces for customers in Devon, London, and the home counties. His dedication to delivering tailored and personalized service has earned him a reputation for taking into consideration the unique needs, preferences, and tastes of each individual client.  

Mark Piper’s journey into the world of fine craftsmanship and design began when he started working for Herbert Reads of Exeter, an ecclesiastic restoration company established in 1888. At Reads, Mark learned the finer points of cabinet-making and honed his skills to a level of perfection. His work with Reads was sent to many countries across the world, which gave him an opportunity to develop a keen eye for detail and the ability to work with different types of wood.  

Following his time at Reads, Mark decided to further his education and enrolled at Rycotewood College in Oxfordshire to study fine craftsmanship and design. The college’s rigorous curriculum helped Mark to develop his artistic skills, and he became proficient in designing and creating bespoke furniture pieces that were not only functional but also visually appealing. Mark’s time at Rycotewood College was a pivotal moment in his career, and it set him on a path to becoming one of the most respected craftsmen in the industry.
